Our chocolates are best appreciated at room temperature. We advise that you cut your chocolate in two and let it melt in the mouth to allow time for the flavors to develop. When you are tasting several chocolates, it is best to start with a plain chocolate, then move on to flavored varieties: first those with fruits, then spices, then alcohol.
Nicolas Cloiseau, chef chocolatier at La Maison du Chocolat and Meilleur Ouvrier de France Chocolatier, shares his desire to do things differently. Here, the milk chocolate of the melting walnut bar is blended with walnut and crêpe dentelle brittle, poured, then cut with a raw edge, and scored with small notches. Our chocolatiers handcraft the bars, one recipe after another, one marble after another. Nicolas Cloiseau's exacting attention to detail determines just the right thickness.
