Here, the intimate blend of chocolate with almonds of the Chocolate Almond King Cake is nestled in Maison pastry featuring extra-fine AOP Charentes-Poitou butter. Like sweet almond paste, the chocolate rush of the cream meets the fine, full-flavored raw almonds, half of which are not shelled.
